Hi Jim, It works great! I purchased the Hunter's Portable Hoist from Jim earlier this season after reviewing it on eBay. I used it on 3 deer I killed this season and it worked great. It is so lightweight I carried it with me into the field. After my kill I just hooked it to a tree near the downed game and had the game hanging in a matter of a few minutes. I used several game cleaning methods and hoist's and this one is clearly my favorite. I would recommend it to any hunter.

Jim I received the portable hoist on Wednesday. On Thursday, I shot a Deer and used the hoist. It worked great no problems using it very convenient and it doesn't take up any space. Great product. Keep up the good work.

Jim, Hunting has been good this year. The "Hunters Portable Hoist" is the perfect unit to use anywhere. It is easy to adjust to a tree or post of choice, and at any height I may need. I will have to buy another and try hanging a feeder. Thanks again,

I recently went on a hunting trip to Missouri, a friend of mine had something he called a portable hoist. On that trip we harvested a few deer, some over 200 lbs. All of the deer that week were cleaned on this portable hoist. It was the handiest thing I've seen for hunters on the go. You don't have to take all of your game to a local processor. You can clean it at the nearest tree or post. I have since purchased one for myself and have already used it numerous times this season. What I like most about the hoist is its ease of use. It is extremely simple to set up and light enough you can pack it almost anywhere. I would recommend this item to any hunter who cleans his own game or for a hunter who travels to hunt, this hoist is a must.

Hello again Jim! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take any game this year. This year I switched to a black widow recurve and sold my Mathews compound. I just never got a shot I liked... But, Good news, I did use the hoist for a bunch of other stuff! This is still the best hoist I have ever seen. I used it to move some really heavy logs into my truck, HUGE Boulders - I know these boulders were WAY over the load limit-, and I used it to lift my 4 wheeler like in your pictures -had to try it after I had seen the pictures on your website-, so it can be used for much more than just game animals. It is still the absolute best design I have ever seen. I can promise this tool won't stay home if I go hunting. I wouldn't leave home without it. It's so easy to put up, that I have completely taken down the big one I had attached to the trees in the back yard -The Wife didn't like that thing- but even she loves this, because I can take it down and put it away when I am done with it. This hoist is GREAT!!! Every hunting buddy I have wants one, so any time you need a reference, you can call on me. I AM SOLD!!! I don't have one bad thing to say about it, it's light, portable and simple to use. It goes up in seconds and is REAL STRONG. Those boulders I mentioned, well, if anything would have broken it, those would have done it. Flawless operation. Oh yea, I almost forgot... It is going with me hog hunting in March. It is the second item on my list, right after my bow! Thanks again!

Dear Jim, As you know, my friend, Paul McPipkin, and I have both received the Hunters Portable Hoist system. We both have utilized these hoists in many circumstances over a three-year period. Thanks for posting some of the pictures of us processing big hogs and deer using the Hunters Portable Hoist on your website. We have used this system extensively, hanging an estimated 150 hogs and 50 deer on one hoist alone. On many occasions, we will hang two hogs or deer on one hoist overnight in cold weather, and on a couple of occasions have hung as many as 4 hogs on one hoist. What is so unique about this system is that is so versatile and durable. We have not replaced any components of this system. The system is compact and is easily stored. I have placed my hoist in a tote bag and it has become apart of my hunting gear. We have carried these hoists all over the state of Georgia during hunts, especially to the barrier islands during hog hunts. Our hoists are in as new condition as we received them three years ago. Keep in mind that we do not leave our hoist out in the weather for any extended length of time. They are too simple to take down and store. I just wanted to commend you on the excellent job you have done in constructing this product and let you know how much we have appreciated them. Thanks again and Good Hunting.

Jim, For someone who's not as young as he used to be, the hoist sure helps getting big game off the ground and on my 4-wheeler. It's compact enough to fit in my pack for those long excursions.
